Question by kawill412: Does a buyers agent get commission if the agreement expired 1 year ago?
I signed a buyers agreement in April/May of 2008. In August of 2008, I decided to stop looking indefinately. In October of 2009, I contacted this same agent and told her I would like to start looking again however I did not sign a new buyers agent agreement. If I find a house on my own, will she be entitled to commission?

If you find a place ON YOUR OWN you want to purchase at this point you will not owe a commission. If this agent shows you a property that you do purchase then the agent is due a commission.
